Tanaq Government Services (TGS) was awarded a contract by the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide Consolidated Facilities Maintenance (CFM) for the Internal Revenue Service at the New Carrollton Federal Building in Lanham, MD. The building was the largest single government construction project in the Baltimore/Washington Corridor in 1994 composed of three wings, 10 stories high with an adjoining parking structure. It was built for $179 million, covers 1.2 million-square-feet, and is home to 4,400 federal employees.
TGS provides complete building facility management to assure effective completion of Preventive Maintenance (PM) services, repair of building operating equipment and systems, needed engineering services, building and equipment alterations, and elevator servicing and repair. In addition to CFM services, TSG provides custodial using Green Cleaning standards as well as trash/debris removal services, and pest management.
