TGS is providing technical and program support services for CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) which is CDC’s premier publication for the reporting of scientific information for disease prevention and control, environmental health, and health promotion and health education activities. Specifically, Karna provides desktop publishing, web management, and technical editing services to help in the scientific publication of timely, reliable, authoritative, accurate, objective, and useful science-based public health information and recommendations.
CDC NCHS, Health, United States, 2017 Production Support 11 Jan 2018 to 30 Aug 2018
TGS is providing all necessary personnel the design and presentation aspects of all web and print products for the 2017 In Brief report. This includes consistent editing style, report layout, typeface selections, figure styles, and text formatting.
CDC, DEHSP, Technical and Administrative Support Activities 9 Jul 2018 to 8 July 2021
The primary objective is to provide technical and administrative support for the Division of Environmental Health Science and Practice (DEHSP), inclusive of its sub-offices/Branches.
Scope of Work – The Contractor shall provide on-site technical and administrative support to satisfy the overall operational objectives for NCEH/DEHSP.
The work includes research and preparation of written materials, briefing charts and presentation materials. It also includes providing administrative and office support activities for multiple managers.
Hurlburt Field Transient Alert and Wash Rack Services 1 May 2018 to 30 April 2023
TGS provides, except as specified in sections 10,11,12,13 and Appendices IV, Government Provided Facilities and V, Government Provided Equipment, of the PWS, all personnel, personnel protective equipment (PPE), equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform transient alert services on all transient aircraft arriving and departing Hurlburt Field, FL. Additionally, TGS provides all required wash rack services. TGS operates the aircraft wash rack for the 1st Special Operations Wing at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The scope includes aircraft assigned to AFSOC from the 27th SOW, Cannon AFB, 352nd SOW, RAF Mildenhall, 193rd SOW, Pennsylvania ANG, and the 413th Test Wing, Eglin AFB to be washed at Hurlburt Field, FL. TGS is responsible for washing the following types of aircraft: CV-22s and a variance of C-130 MDSs (i.e. AC-130U, MC-130H, MC-130J, EC-130J, AC-130W, and AC-130J).
