Tanaq Government Services (TGS) is providing technical and program support services for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) which is CDC’s premier publication for the reporting of scientific information for disease prevention and control, environmental health, and health promotion and health education activities. Specifically, TGS provides desktop publishing, web management, and technical editing services to help in the scientific publication of timely, reliable, authoritative accurate, objective, and useful science-based public health information and recommendations.
In support of Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report’s (MMWR) mission to be the CDC’s primary voice for science-based public health information and recommendations, TGS provided graphical design, web programming, and web publishing support services. TGS used a web-based platform for dissemination of the CDC information to decision makers, public health practitioners, and the public while adhering to the CDC web standards and Section 508 requirements. TGS also provided technical writing and editing services including the preparation of correspondence, narrative reports, summaries of meetings and a variety of other related materials.
Our work includes:
- Data Analysis and Office Management services to provide day-to-day operational administrative support to the MMWR staff.
- Desktop Publishing services and technical assistance and artistic expertise in graphics design and utilization of advanced graphics, software, graphics equipment, associated computer applications, and data management techniques.
- Technical writing and editing services.
- Web Management services to provide support for advanced applications and production development projects.
